Work inside your app
Start with Build locally with AI. Open only the app directory created by nexia init in your assistant. Its generated AGENTS.md defines the boundary, and nexia.json declares the app.
Ask for a concrete screen or interaction. Keep changes inside your app, validate with nexia validate, and inspect the result in the sandbox work tab. Never ask the assistant to clone or redistribute Core, read CLI credentials, or invent remote APIs. Core repository skills are internal operating tools, not a developer installation requirement.
The optional nexia mcp my-app command exposes read-only local app context over stdio. It does not provide Core source or remote execution privileges.
Verify
Run nexia status and confirm the intended project is connected. Open the workspace from your project console and check the app in its work tab.
